How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been beading and playing with beads since I was a child. I have a BA in International Studies from USC. I have spent many years working with restoration of old, antique and delicate beaded pieces and have won many award for my beadwork. I won a scholarship in 2000 from the Univrsity of Minnesota to study with reknowned artist Joyce J Scott. A result of my study with Joyce let to the creation of the "Beaded Venus" beaded sculpture which toured the counrty as part of Beadwork magazines Beaded Figure exhibit.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a full service bead store. We are all about beads. We have over 25 years of experience working with antique, vintage , modern, all types of beads and jewelry. We offer personal quality customer service. Our customer "play" table is always open for customer use. It is well lit, and supplied with tools, idea and instruction books, reading glasses and professional friendly Bead Hostesses that love to help. We also offer in store re-stringing , re-knotting and repair as well as custom design.
