How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have worked in the Human Services field for the past 20 years. I have worked in the Addictions field for over 10 years. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services/Interdisciplinary Studies from Mount Saint Mary College, a Master of Arts in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Webster University, a Post-Master certificate in Addictions Counseling, and currently a Doctoral student at Capella University. I am a certified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), National and state Certified Addictions Counselor (NCACI), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC/S), Master Addiction Counselor (MAC), Employee Assistance Specialist-Clinical (EAS-C), Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
KWS Counseling, LLC is different from other agencies because the services are tailored specifically to fit the needs of the client. KWS Counseling, LLC provides individualized services that focus on strengths not weaknesses.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have one location and not planning on expanding right now.
What type of payments do you accept?
Payments accepted are cash, cashier checks, and money orders.
Which areas do you service?
We are located in Goose Creek and we service people from all areas: Walterboro, Charleston, Summerville, Goose Creek, Hanahan, Mt. Pleasant, Savannah, Orangeburg, Columbia, Moncks Corner, etc.
